Container Stakeholder Group.

       The committee’s goal is to promote container growth in the Port of Vancouver
by increasing the efficiency of terminal and trucking operations.

	In achieving this goal we must:
		- Improve communications to all stakeholders both locally and nternationally
		- Be cost effective - Prevent port shutdowns
		- Be fair
		- Extend operating hours
		- Manage peak periods (daily/weekly/seasonally).

 CTS Committee

       The mandate of the CTS committee is to review, study and propose possible improvements to truck appointment
systems utilized by VPA container terminal operators. The intent is to ensure maximization of
transactions, turn-around times for container carriers and standardize
protocols between container terminals.
